a friend of a friend thats vulgar to you

alright!!
im a typical college student that makes new friends every day. So what would you do if this friends friend says something vulgar about you?

what happened?
we were walking to his friends little hang out. As i was leaving because i had to go to the 7 11 gas station to cash out money, one of his friends had the audacity to say "u going to get some". At first i thought i heard wrong, but i knew i didn't because i just knew. As i was walking away i slowed down to hear what my friend would say but i didn't hear him say anything. As i got to the gas station i thought in my head are you serious. I was wondering if my friend did say anything to shut his friend vulgar mouth. I was upset, but then i started wondering if i should stay friends with him. I have not decided because i am going ask him what he said to his friend when that friend said "u going to get some". When i do get the whole story I'll decide then. Mind you that he is only a freshman(18 years old) and he and his friends are on the football team.(these two factors are not stereotypical but just facts that you should have in mind) I do not think that i am over reacting because why would you want to be friends with a person that does not respect you.
